We just couldn’t take it anymore so we hit the road and headed back to Tallahassee. On the ride home it was quiet for the first two hours, but I couldn’t take it I had to say something.

“I can’t believe that Chyna is Sharon’s auntie, and how she knew I had a girl and knows her name,” I said breaking the silence.

“I knew there was something about her that just wasn’t right, and I told you not to get involved with her Kay,” Domino said glancing over at me.

“I know you did, but she is so damn fine and I just had to get to know her. Now that I have, I don’t think I can get rid of her. She knows too much about me and my life and I didn’t tell her anything,” I said still not understanding how she knew so much.

“We have to keep our eyes open, because if I know Chyna the why I think I do, there is going to be trouble for the both of us,” Domino said.

After that there was nothing else to be said. She was right, our eyes would have to be open to see whatever was about to come our way. Hell, I still had to find out what was going on with Lisa, and who was calling me and Chocolate. This is just too much for one person to deal with at one time.

**********

When I got home I found Chocolate sitting in the living room with this look on her face. I knew that I was going to have to deal with some bullshit, but not as soon as I walk in the door.

“What’s wrong with you? Why you looking like you just want to kill somebody?” I asked knowing I didn’t really want to know but had no choice because she was going to tell me anyway.

She stood up and just looked at me and threw some pictures at me. When I looked at them there were pictures of Lisa and I in the park holding hands and more pictures of us out to dinner. Thank the Lord that it was no sexual pictures. There was also a letter that stated “Kay will never be faithful, because she has issues about her mother.” I could not say anything because the pictures said it all.

“How long has it been going on and how could you do this to me?” she cried out to me.

I thought about making up something, but I thought what the hell. “It has been going on for a while now, but it’s not what you may think. I don’t want to be with her in that way, I’m with you,” I said walking towards her. She stepped back so I couldn’t get close to her.

“How are you with me and I have pictures of the two of you together holding hands and shit. I just don’t understand Kay, how you could do this to me,” she said as she started to cry.

“Don’t cry baby,” I said walking up on her trying to hold her.
